Atrivity notifications are a key component within the tool to share information about the game (dates, rules, instructions, etc.). They also ensure successful participation from all players. 


You can track each notification sent from Atrivity and know which players received the message as well as the time and date.

Settings configuration


Within the messages section, you can use specific settings to customize the message being sent to players.


1. Name of the message. Since you see this field in your list of notifications, you should describe the notification as much as you can to avoid misunderstanding its specific purpose (ex: Game launch for all users)

2. Message type: indicates whether the notification is an e-mail or push notification via the app

3. Game name: select the game for the notification you are creating

4. Enable tracking: check this box if you want to track notifications you send to players

5. Players registered in the App:

a) All: sends message to all players associated with the game

b) Only NOT registered in the App: sends message only to players who have not registered in the app

c) Only registered in the App: with this setting, only players registered in the app will receive the message

6. Players registered in the game:

a) All: sends message to all players associated with the game

b) Only NOT registered in the game: sends message only to players who have not registered in the game

c) Only registered in the game: with this setting, only players registered in the game will receive the message




7. You can use this setting to send messages specifically to players who did not participate very much during the game. Add a number to this field and players who completed fewer challenges will receive the message.

8. Position: setting refers to place where players appear in the ranking. You can set the message to send to players with the same ranking ( ), higher ranking (>) or lower ranking.

9. With this setting checked, players will also receive the message through the app

10. Message Status

a) Draft: Message is saved. You can edit the message but it will not be sent to players.

b) Scheduled: Message is scheduled. You can set this based on a specific time and date (11) or upon entry into the game (13).

c) In Progress: Message is currently being sent to players

d) Done: Message was sent to players.

e) Failed: Message experienced an error when being sent.

11. All game formats allow you to select a specific date to send the message

13. Only for onboarding, continuous and permanent games: messages will not be sent on a specific date. Instead, Atrivity will send it based on the number of days the user spends in the game

14. Number of days since the user entered in the game.

15. Time when Atrivity will send the message when point 13 is enabled
